Garment Magazine

Garment magazine issue 20 is all about the uniforms that shape us. In this issue, we reflect on Amsterdam through the themes of heritage, community and psychology. Exploring how we embody the symbolism behind our clothes, both physically and mentally, through the experience of wearing them. What we wear does not only influence how our surroundings see us, but also the perceptions they make due to how we express ourselves. In this love letter about the city, “Uniforms of Amsterdam” tells the real stories of and to the people that are living in this diverse city. My role was on the editorial board and was focused on writing, leadership and organisation.

FootweART Magazine

How do we balance our creative expression and the comfort of our feet throughout our lives? Footweart strives to explore these questions, provoking our readers to ask these questions of themselves, their communities and to make critical observations of the world around them. Footweart is a series of words, images, poetry and interviews with creatives, makers and community members. The stories we included in this body of work endeavours to contextualise footwear as fashion through the lens of art, reimagining it anew and uniting them together.

Magazine Project

In the second year of Branding at AMFI, we were given the project to create a magazine based around a brand concept. From this prompt we created a magazine based around scents and the digital future. For another AMFI project I was prompted to write an article based around an issue within the fashion industry. I chose to explore the accessibility of innovative technology for all communities.

Zine - Not Your Average

I wrote this zine to share with my peers about an issue I hold closely which is size inclusivity and accessibility within the fashion industry. I wrote about media, average sizes and people who identify with a recent term; midsize.
